On the way back from the range, we decided to take the long route. Across to Silver Bay and down the shore back to Duluth. It was gorgeous out! The sky was bright blue and the water looked tropical. It was amazing :P
These little purple flowers were growing through the rocks right on the edge of the cliff! Brave little guys :)
Kevin, wishing it was the ocean behind him. A mellow Superior blue will do :P
Next stop: Gooseberry Falls
I tried experimenting with long shutters to catch some water action, but it was hard to keep the camera steady without a tripod. A dead tree did the trick for a bit...
